Hands-On Clinical Skills
Practice real-world skills — mobility, vital signs, nutrition, personal care — with guidance from a qualified RN instructor.

Exam Preparation
Interactive quizzes, practice tests, and a proctored exam prepare you to take the Minnesota Nurse Aide Competency Exam with confidence.
How It Works
Use our map to locate an approved OnTrack training site near you. Most sites are employers — some may require you to be hired first.
Work through engaging online modules at your own pace, from anywhere. Videos, scenarios, quizzes, and a Learning Journal guide you through every topic. Select materials are available in Hmong, Spanish, and Somali to support multilingual learners.
Step 3: Practice Skills In Person
Attend scheduled hands-on sessions led by a qualified RN instructor at your training site. This is where your knowledge becomes real caregiving skill.
Step 4: Choose Your Next Step
After completing the program, you can take the Minnesota Nurse Aide Competency Exam to join the state registry — or step directly into entry-level caregiving roles.
