OnTrack CNA – Nursing Assistant Training
Where future caregivers build confidence. Flexible. Modern. Minnesota-approved.
Program Overview
OnTrack Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides a comprehensive, Minnesota Department of Health-approved curriculum designed to prepare learners for safe, person-centered care in long-term care, assisted living, and healthcare settings.
This hybrid program includes 75 total hours of training, combining on-demand online learning, proctored exams, and hands-on skills and competency practice led by your RN instructor – Helping ensure learners are fully prepared for the Minnesota Nurse Aide Competency Exams.
Organizations can train learners when and how they need — with no minimum class size.

A Flexible Learning Journey
Our hybrid format supports classrooms, workforce programs, and employer-based training. To be considered “complete” and eligible for the registry, learners must fulfill the requirements across all three essential pillars of training:
- Knowledge (43 Hours) – Engaging, on-demand online learning.
- Validation (2 Hours) – Proctored exams to ensure comprehension.
- Practice (30 Hours) – Hands-on skills and competency practice led by your RN instructor.
Completion Requirement: These components are integrated. You must successfully navigate the online coursework, pass the validation exams, and finish the clinical practice hours to satisfy the full program requirements.
